Pejeng Village is located between two rivers. In East bounded by the Pekerisan river and west bounded by the Patanu river. This village has been known to the world since 1705, when GE Rumphius (an expert in life sciences), wrote about the "Moon Pejeng" which until now kept in Penataran Sasih. Besides Pejeng, Gianyar regency has several popular tourist villages, such as the village of Ubud, Goa Gajah, and Tirta Empul. Pejeng village famous for its natural beauty and diverse culture. Pejeng offers stunning natural attractions and cultural community of diverse, ranging from dances and customs. In the village there is a royal Pajeng, namely "Puri Agung Pejeng".
